The Medical University of Lublin was established on October 24, 1949, following a decree by the cabinet. The university provides education in general medicine, pharmacy, and health sciences for both graduate and doctoral students. Additionally, students are encouraged to participate in training programs conducted at public research centers.Currently, the university has 7,000 students, including 1,000 international students from 53 different countries. The Medical University of Lublin offers specialization programs in fields such as medical analytics, biomedicine, physiotherapy, pharmacy, dental hygiene, dentistry, nursing, emergency medicine, and public health.The programs at the Medical University of Lublin are approved by the Central Council for Science and Higher Education of Poland. The Medical Academy Lublin Library was founded in the year 2000 at 18 Szkolna Street.
